JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — A recent national survey by Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) reveals that 81% of respondents are satisfied with President Prabowo Subianto’s performance, highlighting strong public confidence in the early months of his administration.
The face-to-face survey, conducted from May 22 to 28, 2025, involved 1,200 respondents from across Indonesia. It employed multistage random sampling to ensure national representativeness and has a margin of error of ±2.90% with a 95% confidence level.
According to the findings released on Sunday, June 1, 2025, public satisfaction is rooted in several key traits associated with Prabowo. Approximately 19.5% of respondents described him as a firm and authoritative leader, while 16.7% pointed to his anti-corruption stance. Another 3.4% appreciated his focus on prioritizing the people's welfare.
Trust Remains High Despite Challenges
IPO Executive Director Dedi Kurnia Syah said the results offer a strong signal that Prabowo's leadership remains trusted by the public.
“The high satisfaction rate indicates that people still place hope in President Prabowo’s leadership, even though significant economic and employment challenges persist,” said Dedi.
The survey underscores a consistent trend of high public confidence in the president, aligning with recent findings from other pollsters, including a separate survey by Indikator Politik which put trust in the presidency at 82%.
