JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) has appointed Dian Siswarini as its new President Director, effective immediately. The decision was approved during the company’s annual general meeting of shareholders (RUPST) held on Tuesday.

Siswarini replaces Ririek Adriansyah, who had led the state-controlled telecom giant since May 24, 2019. Her appointment marks a significant leadership change for one of Indonesia’s most strategically important companies.

Prior to joining Telkom, Siswarini was the President Director and CEO of PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), one of Indonesia’s leading mobile service providers, where she built a distinguished career from 1996 to her resignation on Dec. 3, 2024.

Veteran in the Telecom Sector

Siswarini is widely recognized for her leadership in the telecommunications industry. She served three consecutive terms as XL Axiata’s top executive from April 1, 2015, to the end of 2024. Before that, she was the company’s Deputy President Director (2014–2015) and held the position of Group Chief of Marketing and Operation Officer at Axiata Group Berhad in 2014.

A graduate in Electrical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (1991), Siswarini has also served as President Commissioner of PT Hipernet Indodata since June 2022 and was Commissioner at PT Link Net Tbk from June 2022 until 2024.

New Commissioner and Dividend Announcement

In the same shareholder meeting, Telkom also named Angga Raka Prabowo as its new President Commissioner. Angga is a politician from the Gerindra Party and has been serving as Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital since Aug. 19, 2024.

Shareholders also approved a dividend payout from the company’s 2024 net profit totaling Rp 21.04 trillion ($1.31 billion), or Rp 212.5 per share. This represents an 89% dividend payout ratio and translates to a 7.5% dividend yield based on Tuesday’s intraday share price of Rp 2,830.
